PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil (MCS) is a premium oil designed for those who demand the absolute best lubrication for their motorcycles. AMSOIL Motorcycle Oil is the result of extensive research, and it is specially formulated to excel in all areas unique to motorcycles, including high engine RPM, wet-clutch lubrication, extreme-pressure regions of gears and rust common to short drives and storage.

AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil features superior heat resistance and wear protection. It is shear-stable and helps maintain proper oil pressure in elevated temperatures. AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil stops viscosity breakdown (loss), protects gears and chains, and meets SAE 140, API GL-1 gear oil requirements. It is multi-functional and fulfills the requirements of both domestic and foreign motorcycles. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil outperforms other conventional and synthetic motorcycle oils.

AMSOIL, the leader in synthetic lubrication, produced the world’s first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics,® to do the best job protecting your motorcycle.

Reduces Friction, Heat and Wear
In high heat conditions, engine protection is not sacrificed with AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil. It has exceptional high-temperature film strength and contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation inhibitor additives. It is extremely resistant to breakdown and engineered to prevent damaging sludge and carbon deposits for superior engine cleanliness.

Extreme-Pressure Protection for Gears
With AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil, there is no need for a separate transmission lubricant. It is shear-stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme-pressure additives.

Superior Rust Protection
Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage such as roller bearing failure, uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however, comes by design and is not natural to engine oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil contains special anti-rust agents.

Excellent Wet-Clutch Performance
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It controls heat and helps prevent slippage and glazing, while its high TBN helps improve clutch life by resisting the acids that can degrade clutch material.

APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil is recommended for early-model air-cooled V-Twin engines where a 60-weight motor oil is specified. SAE 60 motor oils are commonly used in Harley-Davidson® Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead and big-bore motorcycles. AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil meets API SG, SL/CF; API GL-1; JASO MA/MA2 and ISO-L-EMA2.

MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil’s life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oils.

SERVICE LIFE
Recommended for use up to twice the motorcycle’s manufacturer-recommended change interval (miles/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, in engines and transmissions. For Big Twin Harley-Davidson transmissions only, follow the Harley-Davidson recommended drain interval for synthetic oil of up to 20,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. When using an engine filter other than an AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Oil Filter, change the filter at standard intervals.

For off-road use, change AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil at the motorcycle’s manufacturer- recommended intervals.

Racing or modified engines are excluded from extended drain interval recommendations. Oil changes are at the owner’s discretion.

Viscosity increase is minimized and soot-related wear is controlled.

Maximizes Fuel Economy, Reduces Oil Consumption and Emissions
AMSOIL Diesel & Marine Motor Oil has lower volatility (evaporation) than con-ventional petroleum oils. Because less oil vapor passes into the combustion chamber, oil consumption and emissions are reduced. Lower volatility helps AMSOIL 15W-40 Diesel Oil retain its viscosity after high-temperature service for excellent fuel economy and continued dependable protection.

Excellent Cold Flow Properties
AMSOIL AME remains fluid down to -44°F. It eases cold-weather starting and provides vital start-up lubrication to prevent engine wear. AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel Oil outperforms conventional 15W-40 petroleum oils and greatly minimizes the impact of cold weather operation.

APPLICATIONS
is engineered for use in a wide variety of light and heavy-duty applications, including over-the-road trucks, off-road construction, marine engines, farm equipment, mining, industrial (pumps & generators) and personal automotive or commercial transportation. It is excellent for use with low- or high-sulfur diesel fuels in standard, turbocharged or supercharged engines, including modern low-emission diesels such as those equipped with EGR systems.

controlled.

Superior Shear Stability, Reduced Oil Consumption
AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Diesel Oil has lower volatility (burn-off) than conventional petroleum oils. Because less oil vapor passes into the combustion chamber, oil consumption and emissions are reduced. Lower volatility helps AMSOIL Premium Diesel Oil retain its viscosity after high-temperature service for continued dependable protection.

Ideal for Fleets
AMSOIL Premium 15W-40 Diesel Oil reduces operating costs through extended drain intervals. It is engineered for a wide range of applications, allowing fleet operators to consolidate engine oil inventories in mixed fleets. In addition, it reduces downtime through extended drain intervals and improved equipment protection.

AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 is wax-free with a broad viscosity range to provide exceptional cold-weather starting and high temperature protection. It resists breakdown and offers maximum fuel efficiency over extended drain intervals.

AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world’s first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics,® to do the best job protecting your engine.

Exceeds Emission System Requirements
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil is a low-sulfated ash formulation that exceeds the requirements for low-emission quality diesel oil. It is compatible with all exhaust treatment devices and is designed to extend the service life of diesel particulate fi lters (DPF).

Extended Drain Performance
AMSOIL Premium 5W-40 Diesel Oil can extend drain intervals far beyond those recommended for conventional petroleum oils. Its unique synthetic formulation and long-drain additive system (10.4 TBN) deliver superior engine protection, cleanliness and performance over extended drain intervals. AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil provides
maximum protection for up to 3X the OEM-recommended drain interval, even further with oil analysis.

Improves Fuel Economy
The advanced synthetic technology used to engineer AMSOIL Premium 5W-40 Diesel Oil enhances viscosity properties and is proven to deliver better fuel economy. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Federal Test Procedure confi rms that AMSOIL 5W-40 Diesel Oil provides up to 3 percent better fuel economy than conventional 15W-40 diesel oils.
Fleet Savings vs. conventional 15W-40 1 Truck 50 Trucks
Fuel Economy Savings (1.6%) $945 $47,250
Extended Drain Savings $210 $10,500
Total Savings with AMSOIL $1,161 $58,050

*Based on 120,000 miles per year with an OEM-recommended drain interval of 10,000 miles. Avg. 6 mpg, 32-qt. oil sump, $3/gal. fuel, $34.10/gal. AMSOIL (Retail), $13.55/gal. conventional diesel oil. Does not include labor, filter or used oil disposal costs, making AMSOIL even more cost effective. Pricing samples taken April 2009.

Reduces Oil Consumption and Emissions
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil has lower volatility (burn-off) than conventional petroleum oils. Because less oil vapor passes into the combustion chamber, oil consumption and emissions are reduced. Lower volatility helps AMSOIL Premium Diesel Oil retain its viscosity after high-temperature service for dependable protection and excellent fuel economy.

Controls Soot-Thickening and Wear
The advanced synthetic base oils in AMSOIL 5W-40 Diesel Oil are naturally resistant to soot contamination. That, along with a heavy fortification of detergent/dispersant additives, keeps soot particles suspended independently, helping prevent the formation of larger wear-causing particles. Viscosity increase is minimized and soot-related wear is controlled.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil (ANGV) delivers superior protection and performance in natural gas engines calling for an API CF 15W-40 low-ash lubricant. It is formulated specifically to meet the special requirements of natural gas fueled engines used in vehicles and mobile equipment.

Wear Protection
The synthetic base oil and advanced anti-wear additive system of Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil provide enhanced valve train protection, whether roller or slider followers are used. It is formulated with high levels of zinc and phosphorus to provide outstanding wear protection in mobile engines requiring Cummins CES 20074.

Minimizes Deposits and Valve Recession
Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil’s low-ash formulation deposit formation. It is designed to reduce valve recession, a common problem with low-ash oils, while its thermal stability allows it to effectively combat oxidation and oil degradation. Its balanced formula allows for a high total base number (TBN) to neutralize acids and protect against corrosion while meeting low ash requirements.

Maintains Viscosity
The shear stable formula of Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil offers maximum protection against viscosity loss while providing optimal service over a broad temperature range. It has inherently low volatility to reduce oil consumption and emissions, helping maintain serviceability of emissions equipment.

Delivers Continuous Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil may be used for extended drain intervals when monitored by an oil analysis program. When extending oil drain intervals, change the oil filter at the OEM-recommended interval.

APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Vehicular Natural Gas Engine Oil is recommended in mobile applications fueled by compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); including transit buses, medium/heavy duty trucks, refuse haulers, school buses and delivery trucks. It is formulated for applications requiring Cummins CES 20074.
